Richfield Elementary School has been proudly serving students in the Richfield Community for almost a century. The school is viewed as a cog in this small agricultural community. The school itself has grown over the years, and currently meets the educational needs of 250 students.

In 2006, Richfield opened a brand new campus, offering our students and community with state of the art facilities. Teachers and staff at Richfield are dedicated to student achievement towards the California State Content Standards. Furthermore, the small school setting allows for a family-like atmosphere. Often times, you will see 8th graders stopping and talking with 1st graders.

The school's commitment to student achievement has resulted in an annual API exceeding the state target of 800. In 2009, we recorded an API of 839, third among districts in Tehama County.
